Bank’s Distinctive Design Captures Its Essence, C.E.O. Says

From the moment you enter First Trust Bank’s main office at Third & Torrence Streets, you can sense the melding of the best of the past and present.

From the exterior view, the two-story postmodern structure features classical red brick with white cornice trim, large storefront windows and an arching window entry. The structure feels at once familiar and new.

Once inside, customers encounter a large welcoming lobby featuring an open floor plan. From its barrel ceiling with up-lighting to the marble floor featuring a brass inset of the bank’s logo of con- centric circles, the lobby is all business but warm and welcoming. To comple- ment the open floor plan, glass-topped partitions section off the customer service areas of the bank and bankers’ offices feature storefront windows facing both the lobby and the outside.
